Doug Goulden

Mr. Goulden combines years of experience in consulting with operational experience in healthcare to bring unique insights to his clients. Consulting projects have ranged from strategic, facility and financial planning, to service line development, operational redesign, and physician/hospital relationships.

Prior to establishing Capital, Mr. Goulden was a Manager in the consulting practice of Deloitte & Touche where he helped develop the strategic facility planning service nationally. Other experience includes leading the development of a physician practice management company. During his service the organization grew from a single specialty (orthopedics) with 24 physicians to a multi-specialty group serving 70 physicians in nine disciplines.

Doug has an MBA from Texas A&M University. He completed his undergraduate work in Architecture at Texas A&M. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Marketing.

A native of Houston, Doug enjoys sailing, traveling and spending time with his family, including Hannah, 11, and Elaine 8.
